\u00a0“HUMANISTIC RETURN:THE SPIRITUAL ORIGIN OF CERAMIC ART”<\/p>\n

For the “2018 Taiwan\u00a0Ceramics Biennale”, we have invited an IAC member Ms. Ting-Ju Shao to be the curator. The Biennale will start from the original link between human and earth, and explore the possibilities between humanistic creation and time. The aim of this exhibition is to build a conversation between Asian ceramics art and culture from the perspective of Chinese Taipei. It is corresponding with the theme of the IAC Congress\u2014New Orientalia. In addition, the Biennale will highlight the cooperation with important ceramics museums in Asia.<\/p>\n

The “2018 Taiwan Ceramics Biennale”\u00a0will provide opportunities for artists not only to exhibit but experience artists-in-residency program in our museum. Besides, we will invite senior curators, local ceramics researchers and ceramic artists to share their experiences in various workshops and lectures. In hopes that this year Biennale 2018 will display a profound aspect of Chinese Taipei culture to the ceramic artists and the people from all over the world.<\/p>\n

Nous avons invit\u00e9 Mme Ting-Ju Shao, membre de l\u2019AIC, pour assurer la curation de l\u2019\u00e9dition 2018 de la Biennale de la C\u00e9ramique. La Biennale partira du lien original entre humains et terre, pour explorer les possibilit\u00e9s entre cr\u00e9ation humaine et temps.\u00a0 L\u2019objectif de cette exposition est de construire une conversation entre l\u2019art et la culture c\u00e9ramique asiatique du point de vue de Taipei. Le th\u00e8me de la Biennale s\u2019accorde ainsi avec celui du Congr\u00e8s de l\u2019AIC: Nouvel Orientalia. Par ailleurs, la Biennale mettra en valeur la coop\u00e9ration importante qui existe entre les mus\u00e9es de la c\u00e9ramique en Asie.<\/p>\r\n

La Biennale de la C\u00e9ramique de 2018 donnera aux artistes l\u2019occasion, non seulement d\u2019exposer leurs \u0153uvres mais \u00e9galement de prendre part \u00e0 des programmes de r\u00e9sidences d\u2019artistes dans les mus\u00e9es du Taipei Chinois. En outre, des curatrices et curateurs d\u2019exp\u00e9rience, des chercheuses et chercheurs dans le domaine de la c\u00e9ramique et des artistes-c\u00e9ramistes seront convi\u00e9-e-s pour partager leurs exp\u00e9riences au cours de plusieurs ateliers et conf\u00e9rences. Les organisateurs esp\u00e8rent que cette \u00e9dition 2018 de la Biennale donnera \u00e0 voir une composante profonde de la culture locale aux artistes c\u00e9ramiques et aux visiteurs-euses du monde entier.<\/p>\r\n
